One morning when the Decathlon Stockport store was about to open the store manager begun to open the front entrance roller shutter door. The entrance door roller shutter opened fine so he moved on to opening the exit door roller shutter. This one would not move as normal, in fact it stopped half way and wouldn’t move. Door engineers were called out and diagnosed a fault with motor inside the roller shutter barrel. So the whole thing had to be removed but there was one problem: massive cable tray was in the way and the shutter could not be touched until the cable tray was rerouted.

Expert Sparks took it from there. We had planned out carefully the whole operation to reroute the tray and had put the plan into action on Sunday night after store closed. Using powered access platform (scissor lift) Expert Spark engineers moved all cable tray out of the way so roller shutter engineers could replace the broken motor. By midnight we were all done.

Expert Spark engineers are IPAF trained and qualified for use of powered access platforms. Any electrical work at high is not a problem. Carefully planned and executed in safe manner.
